Fall in love with you again

As our official first blog, let me start by introducing you to Modern Skyn Alchemy!

This company has always been a dream that I never thought I would accomplish. But the truth is, I started this business for me. I don't care about how much I'm earning or profit margins. I'm doing this because I'm having fun. Modern Skyn Alchemy is my escape from the world. When new herbs and oils delivered, it's Christmas for me. I enjoy blending and creating new products. Breathing in each scent and enjoying the beauty of every product we've made. I use and name each of our companies products. And I can't tell you how much love goes into it.

Every product you will be introduced to carries a special meaning. For example, Afterglow. Afterglow is light or radiance remaining in the sky after the sun has set. Our AFTERGLOW PURIFICATION TONIC is a makeup remover that gently removes the day. Think of yourself as that light; you are the AFTERGLOW.  Every essential oil that we add to our much-loved makeup remover is meant to calm the soul and soothe your skin.

It's not a remover that you use in a rush. Our intentions were for you to take your time, and relax. We understand that life goes on and we may not always have enough hours in the day, but stop, take your time (even if it is for a little while), breath in the scent, and love yourself.

In the modern world, we have the habit of giving so much of us to others. Let these small moments help you find yourself. I hope that we can help you escape and enjoy using our products as much as we do.

Every Modern Skyn Alchemy product is created with the highest quality of ingredients, and we always use organic when available.  Each label is designed to be transparent and honest, remain all-natural, cruelty-free, and guarantee the best customer services, at fair prices, and beautiful products that work.

"Beauty is when you can appreciate yourself. When you love yourself, that's when you're most beautiful." - Zoe Kravitz

Your products are the highlight of each day! I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia (w /others). Using your products at “a slow pace” teaches me self love. Above that, it teaches me that my body, a bit deformed and off center, is my body- my own uniqueness and I chose to show each part that rather then fight, I accept. I accept these swollen fingers & in doing so, I also self care. While body soaking and applying moisture, I listen to my body’s needs. I pay attention to the how and what of such severe swelling& I find ways to chose a new route. I self soothe & in return, I experience deeper rest. Deeper rest for my body. And not my body alone. Deep rest calls for me to listen deeper. To do that , I must shut down the voices of others & the voices of the worlds noise. The mist sprays take me on a new journey. I follow. Each stroke of an all natural organic cream tells me I am one with the worlds resources. I receive all it has to offer. When the ritual ends, I carry with me the smells. Product rubbed deeply within. I am being made new. Healing. I have been heard. The ritual becomes spiritual and for me, this means deeper trust in the Creator of my body and yea, my soul. Often a physically weak body can feel extremely vulnerable to outsiders. Before, during and after my self care ritual, I am strongly aware of the Creator of the earth and Creator of all the treasures within. The handful of herbs gathered, the flowers crushed scent, the unique ways of the willows…and I go forward- stronger, with a deepened sense of oneness. Of belonging. I reach with my finger and find Thee.

I have psoriasis plus I live in a very cold and dry region of Alaska. Temputures can drop to -°60 below. Do you carry a product that would hydrate my skin?
