What is the shelf life / expiration of your products?
We preserve our formulations using three carefully selected systems derived from natural sources, including aspen bark and fermented radish root (Leucidal). To ensure optimal freshness and performance, we recommend using products within 6 months of opening.
Unopened products, when stored away from heat and temperature fluctuations, have an approximate shelf life of 24 months.
Store in a cool, dry environment below 75°F (24°C).

Are your products 100% vegan?
While many of our products are vegan, some formulations include ingredients such as dry milk, beeswax, and honey.
Do you use preservatives?
Most of our formulations are preservative-free and crafted with 100% organic ingredients. We never use formaldehyde, silicones, parabens, or BPA plastics.
For select water-based products, we use a gentle eco-conscious preservative to prevent mold and bacteria.

Are your products nut-free?
No, but we are transitioning all products to be 100% nut-free.
Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, except for our Body Washes, which contain a small amount of hydrolyzed wheat protein.
Do your products contain soy?
No, all Modern Skyn Alchemy products are soy-free.
Are your products safe during pregnancy or nursing?
We recommend consulting your healthcare provider. Our products are offered as cosmetics only.

All products are made in our production studio in Los Angeles, CA.
